How to request deletion
If you would like to delete your FIIA account and associated personal data, please send your request to privacy@fiia.co.ke using the email address linked to your FIIA account.
What to include
Please include:
- your account email address
- the subject line: Account Deletion Request
What happens next
Once we verify the request, we will delete or anonymize your account data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or regulatory purposes.
Data typically deleted
- account profile information
- questionnaire responses
- portfolio recommendation records linked to your account
- app usage data associated with your account where applicable
Data that may be retained for a limited period where necessary
- payment or transaction records
- security and fraud-prevention records
- records required for legal, tax, audit, or regulatory compliance
